The plein air painting of the quintessential New England Harbor scene in Mt Sunapee New Hampshire. The long rays of the late afternoon sun made the little boats in the harbor shine like jewels against the back-drop of period buildings. 16x12 oil painting on linen 'ray-mar' panel, started in August 2009 on summer vacation, finished in studio.
